Enjoying the Backyard

The fire pit and grill both use propane canisters. Please turn off the gas at the valve after each use and make sure both are completely off prior to leaving. If one of the canisters runs out during your stay, you can either refill them at the 7-Eleven down the street (which we will reimburse you) or let us know and our property manager can refill it during his weekly visit. There is a spare canister underneath the black metal side table by the couches.

Please remove the covers off of the grill and fire pits prior to using and replace them once the areas have cooled post-use. To light the fire pit turn the dial to the 9 o’clock position and hold it in while pressing the ignite button. Let the knob out and you can adjust the flame level from there.

Please be respectful of our neighbors at all times and keep noise levels to a minimum after 10:00 pm. We kindly ask that you do not play loud music or make excessive noise that could disturb others in the area. We ask that you not take the provided JBL speaker located underneath the entertainment console outside. It is not rated for FL humidity and it will ruin the speaker.

If you plan on having guests over to use the pool, please let us know in advance.

We take great pride in our home and the pool, and we ask that you treat it with care and respect. Any damage to the pool or surrounding area will be your responsibility. Please report any damages or issues to us immediately.

Before you check out, please ensure the area is clean and tidy. This includes picking up any trash or debris and returning any pool toys to their proper location. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping the pool area clean for all guests to enjoy.

Using the Outdoor Shower

Whether you are like Sean and enjoy a sun-dappled shower or you are trying to accelerate the process of washing up with a houseful of people, we welcome you to use our outdoor shower located in the corner of the backyard by the grill. To do so, please turn on the tap near the grill and pull the thumb-turn valves towards you. The water heater will give you plenty of warm water within about 20 seconds. Please ensure to turn off the water tap and return the thumb-turn valves to their original position to avoid burning out the water heater once you are done.
